Technique:
Multiple sonographic images of the right upper quadrant of the abdomen were assessed for gray scale appearance and color doppler flow.


Findings:
The pancreas is normal in appearance (or not well visualized due to overlying bowel gas).

The liver is normal in echotexture and demonstrates no evidence of dilated intrahepatic ducts.

The visualized right kidney is normal in echo texture without hydronephrosis.

The gallbladder has no internal echoes and the wall measures ____mm in diameter (< 3mm is normal). The common hepatic duct measures ____mm in diameter (< 6mm is normal).

The hepatic and portal veins demonstrate normal directional flow.


Impression:
1. Normal right upper quadrant abdominal ultrasound.
2. No evidence of gall stones or acute cholecystitis.
